Here are few tips you can follow when in class
- Let the instructor know that you’re new to yoga before the class begins. They can offer modifications and adjustments to accommodate your level of experience.
- Approach the class with an open mind and be willing to try new things. Remember that yoga is a practice, and it’s okay to make mistakes or not be perfect.
- Remember to take a break whenever necessary. When you’re starting out, it’s bound to be a little difficult. So take baby steps.
Post Session
- Drink plenty of water to replenish fluids lost during practice.
- Spend a few minutes stretching tight muscles to enhance flexibility and prevent soreness.
- Allow your body time to rest and recover after exertion.
- Take a moment to reflect on your practice and any insights gained.
- Eat a balanced meal or snack to refuel your body and promote muscle recovery.
